BT SPORT : UCL 2020/21 Kings of Europe

Overview: A second task while at BT for the Round of 16 and the final stages was to create ‘The Kings of Europe’. A project that tied together football sporting personalities, real fans and footage from the games.

The concept was this short film will tell the story of this season's UEFA Champions league through the eyes of the fans, players and BT Sport talent. Contacting fans and clubs across Europe who are playing in this season's Champions league. Sending them a specially designed BT Sport Champions League crown to wear whilst they watch their clubs matches., Using BT Sport talent as well as players, managers win lose or draw they will tell us “We are the kings of Europe because...”

My job was to design an illustrated styled crown to represent the physical that would then be tracked and animated onto the footage and clips I was supplied. Adding in particles and glitches emphasized the energy and excitment to the piece.
