BT SPORT : UCL 2020/21 RO16 Opener
Overview: GHM&D was lucky enough to be asked back to help out the guys at BT Sport for UCL for the conclusion of the tournament.
GHM&D was challenged with creating opening visuals and studio graphics for the Round of 16 and the recommencing of the tournament after the Christmas break.
Following reference imagery inspired by stained glass, some wonderful animations for the FITC Toronto 2017 titles and the art of Piet Mondrian I designed various illustrations that were brought to life in After Effects and timed to a VO and live music that would be performed in studio. The overall piece was 90 seconds and shot within a dark space to create beautifuly volumetric imagery that was then used to build other assets for the opening gameday. I was responsilbe for designs, animations and further variations of the artwork.
