GH M&D : SoM Unreal Course
Overview: The aim was to begin understanding and eventually incorporate Unreal Engine into our Motion Design skillset. Having seen the potential of the software, we always struggled to find ‘the right’ course for us. Like many motion designers, we’ve always known the best way to stay current is to adapt and continue to learn and develop. Despite having tried many other courses in different applications, work and social aspects always made it tricky. After trying another Unreal course in the past, it was hard to establish a connection between it and motion design. Often it was taken from an Arch Vis or a games perspective, which made it hard to follow and find the enthusiasm for. However, Jonathan Winbush’s School of Motion course was exactly what we needed. Short, easy to follow and explained from a Motion Design ideology. It made sense! so I was so greatful to take and actually finish a course. We hope Unreal will be further integrated as it’s going to hopefully be a big part of our Motion Design journey.
