PFA : AWARDS TITLES 2018

Overview: I was approached by Scruf TV and The Black Arts Company to design, create and animate an opener for the Players Football Association Awards in 2018.

I was provided reference and scope from the guys as well as various assets for imagery and texturing. The core principle was to have paper being torn away to reveal significant male and female players from a range of eras. The paper has a golden under-leaf that was shown when the paper curled backwards.

This was a great collaboration and I was fortunate enough to work from home and test out my newly acquired Redshift skills. The project used a variety of mattes I created in photoshop, that were animated with the bend deformer in Cinema4d to then be rendered out in Redshift and composited in After Effects.
