VW : CH / HP & PCh
Overview: During my final stint as a full timer I was lucky enough to work on this fun little VW project that consisted of 3 individual films based around VW’s different price plans, Contract Hire, Hire Purchase and Personal Contract Hire.
Following a script and taking the lovely little wooden car model I set about creating the scene. Some elements I built, others I grabbed from the content browser and of course TurboSquid. The scene needed to be lit and textured as well as animating the camera for the various shots. David Hornsburgh created the original concept frames and designers for PCH, from which I took hold and created the three projects.
I then set about animating the car and all the little details that brought it to life. After some very lengthy renders (unable to use 3rd party renderers) I set about compositing it in After Effects for the finishes product.
